Copal Lighting Collection emerged from a shared philosophy between Smyth House and Palo Santo: that the objects we live with should be chosen thoughtfully, made intentionally, and meant to be enjoyed over time. Rooted in intentional living and creative restraint, this collaboration reflects a mutual respect for artistry, material honesty, and the human hand.
Every decision, from form to finish was guided by one essential question: How should a space feel?
A Partnership Rooted in Craft
In a small workshop in Mexico, artisans shape raw clay into sculptural forms. Each Copal pendant is pressed, carved, smoothed, and fired entirely by hand using time-honored techniques passed down through generations.
The process is slow. Intentional. Deeply human.
