Espresso martinis are having a moment.
The iconic coffee cocktail has been around for decades, but it’s apparently made a major comeback this year. They are everywhere, and for good reason. If you’ve been out even once over the past six months or scrolled through social media, you’ve probably noticed.
Bold, boozy, flirty and fab… Is it just us, or does sipping an espresso martini make you feel like a star, living your best life? Maybe it’s the caffeine, maybe it’s the vodka… Maybe it’s both. Whatever it is, it’s a vibe. And we are here for it.
We needed this dangerously decadent cocktail at our fingertips; and decided it was time to give them a go at home. Turns out staying in is the new going out and no one around here is complaining!
Three Ingredients. Takes 2 Minutes. Cocktails for Two.
INGREDIENTS:
4 oz espresso or cold brew concentrate
4 oz vodka
3 oz bailey’s irish cream liqueur
- Combine your ingredients in a shaker with ice. Now shake it up for 30 seconds to create the perfect foam top!
- Pour and strain into your coupes or martini glasses.
- Garnish with three coffee beans. (optional)
- Serve, sip and enjoy. Cheers!
